Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Clean Best collects through this website, why we collect it, where it goes and how long we keep it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who we are
This website is operated by CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 84 700 040 553), trading as Clean Best, of 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147. We provide commercial and residential cleaning services in Fairfield NSW 2165 and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect
We collect only what we need in order to quote and perform cleaning work. When you submit the quote form on this site, that is:
- your first and last name;
- your phone number and email address;
- the service you selected and the time you asked us to call;
- the address of the premises to be cleaned, if you choose to give it; and
- anything you write in the message field.
The address and message fields are optional. Everything else is required, because without a name, a phone number and an email address we cannot get back to you.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank details, government identifiers, health information or any other sensitive information through this website.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a walkthrough of your premises, prepare a written quote, and if you engage us, to schedule and perform the cleaning and invoice you for it. We also use it to keep records we are legally required to keep.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a data broker. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Where your enquiry actually goes
The quote form on this site does not store anything on this website. When you press send, the form posts your details to a contact service we operate, which emails them to hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au using Amazon Simple Email Service. Your email address is set as the reply-to on that email, so a reply from us goes straight back to you.
That means your details are handled by our web host and by Amazon Web Services in the ordinary course of transmitting and storing that email. Both are bound by their own security obligations, and we choose them on that basis.
The form also carries a hidden field that a human being never sees or fills in. Automated submissions that fill it are discarded. It exists solely to catch bots and it collects nothing about you.
Who else sees it
The people at Clean Best who need it in order to answer you and do the work — the person quoting your premises, the supervisor assigned to your site, and whoever raises the invoice. Our email, accounting and scheduling providers process it as part of running those systems.
Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We do not disclose it to anyone overseas except to the extent our email and hosting providers store data on infrastructure outside Australia in the ordinary course of providing those services.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. It does not have a cookie banner because it does not need one.
The fonts used on this site are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party font service, which means your browser is not making a request to another company simply to render text on this page. If we later add analytics, this section will be updated before it goes live — not afterwards.
How long we keep it
If you ask for a quote and do not go ahead, we keep your enquiry for as long as it is reasonably useful to us to have it — typically while there is any prospect of you coming back to us — and then we delete it.
If you become a client, we keep the records associated with the work for as long as we are required to by Australian tax and business law, and then we delete them.
Keeping it safe
This website is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Access to the inbox that receives enquiries is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfect and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something — but we do not keep more of your information than we need, and information that is not held cannot be lost.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Contact us on 1300 494 983 or at hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period, and at no charge for a straightforward request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. We do not make changes retrospectively and we do not quietly broaden what we collect.
